No matter how good you are to people, it won't make them good to you

I think it is important to realize that no matter how good you are to people, it won't make them good to you. You can be kind, compassionate, and generous, but that doesn't guarantee that others will treat you the same way. Some people may take advantage of your goodness or exploit your kindness for their own gain.
It's essential to understand that you can't control how others behave, but you can control how you respond to them. You can choose to set boundaries, prioritize your own needs, and surround yourself with people who appreciate and respect you. Remember that your worth and value come from within, and don't depend on how others treat you.
It's also important to recognize that being good to others doesn't mean you have to sacrifice your own well-being. You can be kind and compassionate without being taken advantage of. You can set healthy boundaries and prioritize your own needs without being selfish.
Ultimately, it's crucial to focus on building relationships with people who appreciate and value you for who you are. Surround yourself with people who uplift and support you, and don't waste your time on those who don't treat you with the respect and kindness you deserve.
