The Minute You Let a Narcissist In

 The minute you let a narcissist in is when you start to trust them and put your guard down. It’s also when they think you need them in some way or for whatever reason you can’t or won’t leave them. That’s when you become the perfect victim.

This is when the switch happens. Suddenly to them your feelings don’t count anymore. They stop treating you with common decency and respect and you feel the rug being pulled out from under you and you don’t know why.

It’s traumatizing when they suddenly turn on you at any moment over anything. You keep trying to understand what happened how can they switch in seconds. You even start to blame yourself thinking maybe you did something wrong.

This is an awful thing they do to a person. You did nothing wrong, except let a predator into your heart. This is when narcissist start to trauma bond you. They put you through this whole ordeal.

But you have to remember It’s not your fault the only thing you did was let them in your heart. You didn’t deserve this.
